The adventure ‘experience’ of Tough Mudder is returning to Ireland in 2019 and will be back again at Loughcrew Adventure Centr in County Meath.
Instead of the usual Tough Mudder Full and Half course, Tough Mudder Ireland has announced that 2019 will have a Tough Mudder Classic and 5k course.
The Tough Mudder Classic will featuring 8 miles and over 25 obstacles, meaning there will be less running and more clambering through, under and over the various obstacles.
The Tough Mudder 5k has been described as “no ordinary fun run” and is ideal for people who “want to do a Tough Mudder but don’t have time to train.”
In previous years Obstacles have included ‘Everest’ the Quarter Pipe that requires a good running start to conquer, the ‘Arctic Enema’ Ice Bath and ‘Electroshock Therapy’ as pictured above.
Next year’s irish event will take place on the 20th and 21st of July. This will be the 3rd year that Tough Mudder has returned to Lough Carew estate and the 5th year of Tough Mudder taking place in Ireland.
Team Ireland were one of six relay teams that took place in the World’s Toughest Mudder event that took place in Atlanta over the weekend, coming in a very respectable 5th place.
