Sport for Business, in partnership with Mason Alexander Sports, is hosting a special Transition from Sport to Business Breakfast in Dublin on Tuesday, May 1st.
We will be joined by former World Boxing Champion Andy Lee; Ireland’s most capped International sports star Nikki Symmons and a very special guest from the Rugby world for an exclusive gathering of sporting and business leaders to discuss the transfer of performance skills from sport to business, preparation for transition and how high performers in one sphere can add value in another.
“The lessons learned on the field can add real value to a business when a player’s active sports career has drawn to an end,” said Sport for Business CEO Rob Hartnett.
“Bringing together sporting stars and business leaders in a relaxed environment will help both sides understand how best to make this transition work and become a real winner for everyone.”
“The skills we develop in high-performance sport can be of real value within businesses,” added former Tennis star and now Head of Sport at Mason Alexander, James Cluskey.
“This event is about exploring the ways that this can be understood by athletes, and by the businesses that could benefit from having them as part of their team.”
“We are delighted to bring together a really strong group of sporting and business leaders and to explore together how we can best work together.”
