What’s your Christmas Goal?

One of the sporting traditions of Christmas is to run the Goal Mile before sitting down to ‘carve the roast beast’

The charity raises money for those most in need around the world and this is one of its biggest fundraisers of the year.

2017 will mark its 36th year and there will be runs over around about a two hour period at 130 locations around the country.

Two sporting stars recovering from injury were out at Irishtown Stadium in Ringsend this week to launch the 2017 campaign.

Jamie Heaslip and Jack McCaffrey are both hoping to make full comebacks in 2018 and while we may not be able to attain their levels of achievement everyone is capable of running, walking or moving at whatever pace they can around a track, park or pitch near you this year.
