Women in Sports Leadership Today

Sport for Business’ Rob Hartnett will be speaking on the question of Leadership of Women in sport at UCD today, alongside Cork Dual Star and 2015 winner of the irish Times / Sport Ireland Sportswomen of the Year Rena Buckley, Sarah O’Connor, Head of Sport at Wilson Hartnell, Sharon Hutchinson, Founder of sportswomen.ie and RTÉ Sports presenter Evanne Ní Chuillin.

Given recent controversy over attempts to change the gender balance of Ireland’s sporting organisations it promises to be a lively debate.

We will also be looking at the power of role models, the life lessons to be gained from sport, media coverage and more.

The Conference, sponsored by Arthur Cox is now in its second year and is targeting an audience of 500 students and alumni for a day of networking and insight.
