The Premier League was back at the weekend after the international break and dominated Irish Sunday papers in terms of coverage again.
It also landed at the Aviva Stadium when Cadbury ambassador Ian Wright travelled to Dublin to take part in a day of media and commercial engagements.
Most of the commentary in media surrounds his views on Decland Rice and whether he will commit to England or the Republic of Ireland with whom has already played three times, albeit in non-competitive games.
Cadbury is one of the main sponsors of the Premier League and used the presence of the Arsenal legend to tie up a ‘meet and greet’ offer with Tesco who had competition winners from around the country come to Dublin to meet the player and take part in a question and answer session with him.
Cadbury is also running a series of on-pack promotions to win trips to watch a Premier League game and has a media partnership with Balls.ie to bring the involvement as a sponsor to a wider audience.
