Aviva has long been a leader in support of Pride. The company activations have been led from within by a strong internal group of advocates and delivered with meaning and visibility.

After the Friday night game between the Republic of Ireland and Sweden at the Aviva Stadium, they arranged for the stadium to be lit up in the colours of Pride, a statement of support that created great content, as above.

“Our main message is that this year, we have partnered with the fantastic charity Outhouse, which is dedicated to supporting the people, spaces, and issues important to the LGBTQ+ communities.,” said Sponsorship manager Caroline Cummins.

“To raise funds for the charity, we will be selling our rainbow socks in partnership with Human Collective for €10.”

“For every pair of socks sold, we will donate €10 to Outhouse and also be donating €10 for every home policy taken out during the month of June.”

To promote the campaign, the company has partnered with District Magazine for a five-part content series that will tell the stories of five different LGBTQ+ heroes each week in June. This content is being shared across social media.

There has also been a radio partnership with Today FM to amplify the message.
