The premiere of the Netflix Series Six Nations:Full Contact took place in London this week and was attended by a host of stars including minor Royalty, former England Captain Will Carling, current internationals Finn Russell, Ellis Genge and Marcus Smith.

Ireland’s Grand Slam triumph means they will naturally feature prominently and Andrew Porter’s ear is the first frame of the first trailer that can be seen below.

The programme will drop next Wednesday, January 24th and follows in the tradition of Netflix Sporting Documentaries Drive to Survive, Full Swing and Break Point.

Managers and players in this year’s tournament which gets underway only nine days after the drop will doubtless talk of it as a distraction but you can rest assured they will be watching, along with most of the rest of us.

The premiere only showed the first episode so no binge watching for those in attendance but the general sense of it was one that will be much watched and much chatted about over the coming weeks.
