Intersport Elverys are teaming up with Just Eat to deliver Ireland Rugby apparel to fans ahead of their games from this weekend.

Fans simply place an order on Just Eat from Intersport Elverys and Just Eat will deliver the item to their doorstep.

This collaboration that brings the world of sports and convenience together is a first in the Irish market.

Similar to ordering a takeaway on Just Eat, fans can choose from a collection of Official Canterbury Irish Rugby merchandise on the Intersport Elverys menu and have their items swiftly delivered by Just Eat.

The range of merchandise includes Ireland jerseys, hoodies, training tops, and hats for delivery to their home or workplace for the duration of the tournament.

Deliveries are available for those in the areas covered by Just Eat for Intersport Elverys shops at Suffolk Street and Dundrum in Dublin as well as Edward Square, Galway. The first 10 orders from each location this Saturday, for Ireland vs Tonga, will also win a €100 Intersport Elverys gift card.

“This partnership aims to redefine the shopping experience for sports enthusiasts, offering a seamless way to support the national rugby team from the comfort of their homes,” said Patrick Rowland, CEO of Intersport Elverys.

“Whether it’s a jersey, hat, or any other piece of fanwear listed, customers in select locations can now browse a curated collection of Official Canterbury Irish Rugby merchandise on the Intersport Elverys menu and have their items swiftly delivered by Just Eat.”

“There’s a real excitement with the Irish team’s journey to France and we’re hoping to bring that same buzz right to people’s doorstep in this collaboration,” added Amanda Roche-Kelly, Managing Director of Just eat Ireland.

Just Eat partners with leinster rugby in the irish sports market and with UEFA around the international tournament and the club competitions.

Sport as part of the gig economy is an interesting development and will be one to watch over the course of the tournament.
