Conor Gannon of Ireland is pictured above signing an autograph for Úna Keane from Limerick during a meet and greet before the Davis Cup World Group I Play-off 1st Round draw ceremony today.

The match against Austria is the first to be staged here in nine years and will take place at a sold out University of Limerick Arena over Saturday and Sunday.

Dominic Thiem has won 17 titles in his career amassing prize money of a little over $30 Million. He will face Michael Agwi in the opening Singles match. Michael has yet to break $10,000 in earnings but on any given day and with a loud and proud Irish support, who knows.

In the second singles match on Saturday Osgar O hOisín will play Sebastian Ofner, ranked over 500 places above him in the World Rankings but similarly with an underdog spirit that has carried Ireland to this stage already.

The opening ceremony takes place at 11:45 in Limerick and the matches will be shown live on Premier Sports.
