NutriticsThe business side of sports nutrition will come under the spotlight of RTÉ 2FM’s Game on programme this evening as it looks at the expansion of the demand for information in a world where fitness is about more than what you do externally to your body.

Two Sport for Business members – Damian O’Kelly of Nutritics and Martin Kennedy from the National Athlete Development Academy will be interviewed by Mick O’Keefe of PSG Group as part of the weekly Business of Sport slot.

Nutritics was founded in 2011 by O’Kelly and Stephen Nolan and has based its success on selling to nutrition experts who will then bring the service to sports organisations including the English and Irish Institutes of Sport, the IRFU and a growing number of Premier League clubs in soccer as well as education establishments including UCD, Athlone Institute of Technology and Brookes University, Oxford.

The company was present (above) at the Sport for Business Network night at Croke Park in April of this year.

The show will be broadcast this evening between 7pm and 8pm on 2FM.

Nolan and Martin Kennedy, recently reappointed as fitness coach to the Dublin Senior Football panel under Jim Gavin for 2015 will both be speaking and sharing tips with the inaugural breakfast meeting of ‘Fit for Business’ at UCD Smurfit Business School next Tuesday, October 28th from 0730 to 0845.

A small number of tickets are still available for this and can be booked here.
