Dublin GAA has continued its dominance at the top of the GAA inter county league for commercial partnerships with a new three year deal with Ballygowan and Energise Sport to become official hydration partners.
The two Britvic brands will replace Deep RiverRock from the Coca Cola family in a deal believed to be worth over €100,000 a year including the supply of product.
The presence of Sky TV broadcasting to the UK market was a big plus in terms of the brand seeking to get involved in Gaelic Games as the export market to the UK is an important source of revenue.

Ballygowan is sourced in Limerick but Dublin’s high profile and more likely involvement in the biggest games of the year in August and September tilted the balance in their favour.
“Collaborating with Dublin GAA gives us a great platform to promote the benefits of healthy hydration for everyone,” said Britvic Ireland Director Kevin Donnelly.
AIG’s multi million deal is now into year two of a five year deal and Sponsorship Manager John Gillick expressed themselves delighted with the impact of 2014 in an exclusive interview last week with Sport for Business.
The two brands join Aer Lingus, Toyota, Skins, Ros Nutrition, Linwoods, the Gibson Hotel, the National Aquatic Centre and O’Neills as the second tier of official partners for 2015.
