It may not have been in the most high profile of venues but Sunday’s opening round of the Connaught Championship at Gaelic Park in New York was the first time in public that the new suite of sponsors for this year’s All Ireland Football Championship -AIB, Supervalu and Eircom were seen alongside each other.
