
With support from Champion Sports, Peugeot Ireland, Red Bull, Spin 103.8 and entertainment.ie, Brian Maher of Spin 103.8 and Mike Sheridan of entertainment.ie and RTÉ will set out to run 126 miles (the equivalent of 5 marathons) in one day in aid of Special Olympics Ireland.
The pair’s journey will begin in Limerick at 7am on Thursday 26th April. Approximately 30 hours later, they will arrive on Dublin’s Grafton St.
There is a substantial online and social media presence behind the effort which is part of a variety of events ranging from bucket collections in towns and workplaces; a musical challenge for bands and lots of sporting celebrity support, especially through the medium of Twitter.
Sport for Business will donate €1 for every new sign up to our Daily News Digest during the month of April and 5% of all new membership subscriptions received during the month.
