Friday April 27th is the National Collection Day for Special Olympics Ireland.  In towns and cities across the country thousands of volunteers will be shaking their buckets and asking for donations to raise a target of €1 million in a single day.
Sport for Business has been offering a cash donation of €1 for every new sign up to the Daily News Digest during the month.  If you find this daily news from the commercial world of Irish Sport, today is the day to forward it to a colleague or someone in your club and help make a small difference to a big cause.
There will be street acts, music and performance in lots of open air venues throughout the day including on Grafton Street in Dublin, Patrick Street in Cork, Cruise Street in Limerick and Shop Street in Galway
Fan The Flame is an ongoing campaign which will give everyone on the island of Ireland the opportunity to help our Special Olympics Athletes achieve their Olympic dreams in 4 years. There are many ways we can all join in and ‘Fan The Flame’, as individuals, as communities, as organisations and businesses.
