samsung-paralympics-ellie-simmonsEllie Simmons, one of the stars of the Paralympics in Beijing and London made it three Golden Games in a row last night, breaking the World record for her favoured 200 metre individual medley into the bargain and becoming the first person in history in her category of disability to break three minutes.

Hers is a story that can only inspire but part of the attraction of the Paralympics is the athletes ability to perform to the very highest standard but to remain human and wonderfully accessible.

One of our favourite campaigns of marketing throughout the Olympics and Paralympic cycle has been that of Samsung.  Using humour with Jack Whitehall and a cast of comedy amateurs it has been relevant in terms of the product and a winner on TV.

Here is the ad which ran again on Channel 4 last night just before Simmons swam into the history books.
