Irish sports team management service Teamer.net has just missed out to Manchester City as the Sports Website of 2012 at a prestigious Sports Industry Awards presentation in Britain.  Sky Sports and Talk Sport were the other two brands in the running, which shows the achievement in getting on the shortlist.
O2, Sky Sports, Nivea, Betfair, The Olympic Delivery authority and British Triathlon were among the other winners named at the ceremony, held in London in front of the great and the good of British and international sport.
Teamer will have a sense now of what Man United felt like on Monday evening after Man City completed the double over them and moved to being 1.50 favourites to win the Barclays Premier League Title.
