It’s the All Ireland Final this weekend and AIG and Elverys have been out and about making sure that their position as sponsors of Dublin and Mayo is to the fore.

The AIG HQ building on the north side of the Quays, only a kilometre away from the cauldron of Hill 16, is now proudly adorned with the giant size jersey that nails their colours to the roof if not the mast.

See what John Gillick, AIG’s sponsorship manager had to say about sponsorship at Sport for Business’ networking night in Dublin this week.

They have also released the seventh in a series of videos #BackingEveryStep for the Dubs.  This one features three time All Ireland winner Alan Brogan who retired after the 2015 win and wistfully reflects on what he will miss most about this year’s Final and Dublin’s place in history.

Mayo backers Elvery’s have been out and about with the video camera as well capturing the team taking part in the Crossbar Challenge at Elvery’s McHale Park. The content though which is stirring the Red and Green hearts of the Mayo faithful is this produced to celebrate what it is to be a fan…

They have been holding ticket draws for fans in the Mayo and Dublin stores and hoping to make it a unique sponsorship double on Sunday after Tipperary won the All Ireland Hurling Final two weeks ago.

Championship sponsors eir have also been active with tickets for fans and they recorded Cillian O’Connor making one Mayo supporter happy during the week.

AIB recorded what it was like to be on Hill 16 earlier in the campaign and released their video in full 3D in advance of the big weekend.
