Sport taking place in iconic locations can create images and memories that really stick and such was the case over the weekend with the Neymar Jr’s Five, Red Bull’s five-a-side tournament taking place on the Titanic Slipways in Belfast.

This was the Ireland final of a tournament which takes place across 53 countries and involves over 75,000 players from around the world.

It goes a little beyond your standard five a side rules though with each game lasting a maximum of ten minutes and every time one team scores a goal the other side loses a player.

It’s loud, it’s lively and it is streamed live across Red Bull media to provide a perfect blend of sport, youth culture and branding.

Teams had come through qualifying stages and Distillery Elites and Whoyaplayin? became chamopions of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, winning the right now to play in the global finals in Brazil on July 8th.
