Four ‘knowledge bursts’ have been unveiled as a feature of next Thursday’s Sport for Social Good Conference in Dublin.

Keynote interviews and panel discussions with speakers from the Manchester United Foundation, Three, Bank of Ireland, Leinster Rugby and Barcelona sponsor Beko will be interespersed with four projects showing the real impact that Social Good projects linked to sport are having here in Ireland and further afield with an Irish twist.

Breast Cancer ireland will speak about the Great Pink Run. Alan Kerins will talk about his GAA focused Self Help Africa project.  Special Olympics Ireland will reflect on this year’s National Games and the Dublin Simon Community will speak about the way Sport helps to bring people back from challenging circumstances in their life.

Ellen Keane and Damien O’Neill will open up the half day conference which will also see the publication of the first Sport for Business Sport for Social Good Report.

There will also be a first sight of bespoke research conducted by The Brand Fans and Amarach Research.
