Sport for Business is excited for a major announcement taking place today concerning an international sports event that has selected Ireland to host its World Championship here in 2021.
We are sworn to secrecy over the detail of the event but it is a major feather in our cap and will bring teams, players and supporters from around the world.
We played a small part in providing a letter of support to the bid team who were told the good news last month and will now begin on the planning cycle to bring the tournament to life.
All we can say for now is that it will be staged outside of Dublin and we will have details from the launch available on the Sport for Business website and through social media later today.
