The inaugural Sport for Business 20/20 event was held yesterday at the Dublin Headquarters of Founder Member Ulster Bank.  Leaders from sport and business gathered to present a range of exciting and innovative programmes for 2013 as well as to share intelligence and best practice on how sporting organisations and commercial partners can work most effectively together.
The presentations made on the day, together with updated narrative and commentary will be made available to members of the Sport for Business Community over the coming weeks and a digital video of the day is currently in production.
Some of the comments from those who attended included:
“This is a great initiative.  It is focused and gathers together people that would always ‘want’ to meet up but never quite have the time.”
“We have learned so much from today, in terms of how to present our case, and in terms of where we are in the overall context of sport.  That is the perspective that partners are looking from and learning that is invaluable.”
“It was a great opportunity to see a wide range of ideas, delivered with a passion you can never get from a cold email.  This will get some of those who presented past first base and there is a great value in that from both sides.”
“We are making connections through Sport for Business that would never have come onto the radar under normal circumstances but which could prove to be real winners.”
Sport for Business is all about building a community of shared interest across a wide range of sports and sectors.  We do so at a reasonable cost that delivers much greater value.  Contact us today to find out more about how you can become an important member of our community.
