AIG has launched a new virtual health and wellness portal, including virtual gym membership, with free membership for all Dublin GAA club players and members.

The Dub Club Health Club is an innovative health and wellness portal hosted and delivered in partnership with Sports Physio Ireland.

It contains a wide range of well-produced videos, workouts, live classes, training programmes, nutritional and mental health advice as well as self-assessment tools and access to trainers and physiotherapists for advice and additional services.

There will be specific training plans to suit people of all ages and all fitness goals, helping users to avoid and rehabilitate injury, enhance performance, improve nutrition and increase wellness – all through their computer or mobile device.

With GAA clubs still closed and group exercise not currently possible, this is a great resource for club members and players to help keep them fit and active and to offer expert advice to ensure that Dub Club Health Club users have access to all the information they need to exercise safely.

“As part of AIG’s commitment to supporting communities, the extension of the AIG Dub Club Health and Wellbeing initiative to provide free access to the whole Dublin GAA membership for our new innovative digital ‘Health Plus’ portal, is a further way for us to show that commitment,” said Aidan Connaughton, General manager of AIG Ireland.

“As an insurance company, we manage risk and risk prevention is a key part of our business. This extension of our Dub Club Health initiative will further promote, support and encourage healthy living across Dublin GAA.”
