In March 2021 Sport for Business gathered an audience of over 120 champions of the bike to look at where the sport and the world of cycling are as we begin to emerge from the lockdown of the past twelve months.
We were joined by Sport Ireland, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, Cycling Ireland, Axa and Paralympics Star Eve McCrystal, all of whose contributions will be made available on the Sport for Business website this week.
Today we replay the conversation with Diarmuid McSweeney of Gym + Coffee, Sean Prunty from Kinetica Sports and Rob Hartnett from Sport for Business.
Among the key things you will learn from listening or watching back the interview below:
How sporting rights holders and sponsors can learn from each other.
“We never thought we’d be big enough to be a sponsor until we started having a conversation and then things that we’d never thought of began to emerge.”
The importance of engagement between sponsor and rights holder
“Consumers have big plans for the summer. They want the best dinner, the best party, the best events they’ve ever had. There is a huge desire to experience things with new people.”
and more…
