Allianz has released the final episode of its ‘Write Your Own Story’, mini-documentary series.
It centres on Louth inter-county star Ciaran Byrne, as he focuses on his recovery from an ACL injury suffered during this year’s Allianz League fixture against Clare.
Despite missing Louth’s run in this year’s Championship, which came to an end against Kerry, Ciaran is determined to re-join his teammates in 2024 as Louth look to progress to division one of the Allianz Football League.
The series, which has been running throughout June, showcases the Championship’s all-encompassing nature and its direct connection to the Allianz Leagues, from the perspective of the individuals involved – whether a player, coach, volunteer, or spectator – as they display the true essence of the GAA.
The first episode featured Marie Marie Lynch from Cordery, a sup fan and maker of super sandwiches, while the second was a look at the life of the Louth County Secretary, and the third at player Conor Grimes.
