Red Bull has this week launched a state-of-the-art gaming hub at SETU Waterford to support the development of third-level gamers in Ireland.
The Red Bull Gaming Hub represents a major step forward for esports and gaming in Ireland, and will help SETU students of all abilities to develop their skill sets while also connecting them with leading partners in the global gaming industry.
Ireland has a vibrant student gaming community managed by Sport for Business member Nativz Gaming as well as a successful series of events under the GamerFest banner, another member of our community.
Epic Global is working with a number of key international partners as well and Riot Games is now a year into having it’s European base broadcast centre in Swords.
Later this week we will publish exclusive research undertaken by Nativz within the student gamer community.
