The DP World Tour and Rolex have announced a long-term extension of their partnership.
The Swiss watchmaker has been the Official Timekeeper of the Tour since 1997. During this time, Rolex has supported the Tour’s expansion from its initial European roots into its position as golf’s global Tour, staging tournaments in 25 different countries each season.
The partnership will see Rolex continue as the DP World Tour’s Official Timekeeper and Title Partner of the Rolex Series.
First launched in 2017 to mark the 20th anniversary of the relationship, the Rolex Series is the DP World Tour’s premium event category and comprises five tournaments in 2026, hosted at world-class golfing venues, with a minimum prize fund of $9 million.
Showcasing innovation, enriched social media and broadcast coverage, and a superior event experience for both fans and the world’s top players, the list of Rolex Series Champions features some of golf’s most distinguished names, including Rolex Testimonees Matt Fitzpatrick and Collin Morikawa.
The first Rolex Series tournament of the 2026 season, the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, concluded last weekend at Emirates Golf Club. The remaining four Rolex Series events in 2026 are the Genesis Scottish Open (July. 9-12), the BMW PGA Championship (Sept. 17-20), and two Playoff events; the Abu Dhabi Championship (Nov. 5-8) and the DP World Tour Championship (Nov. 12-15), where the 2026 Race to Dubai Champion will be crowned.
Rolex has a long legacy of championing the development of emerging talent in golf, and under this agreement, will also remain as the Official Timekeeper of the HotelPlanner Tour.
“Rolex is delighted to strengthen its support of the DP World Tour, reinforcing our deep commitment to golf for almost 60 years, and with the Tour for close to three decades,” said Arnaud Boetsch, Rolex Director of Communication and Image.
“The Tour represents the very best of global golf, uniting leading players at iconic venues, and the Rolex Series continues to reward excellence at the highest level. We look forward to witnessing more world-class competition and defining moments on our journey together in 2026 and beyond.”
“Rolex’s commitment to the game of golf is unparalleled,” added Guy Kinnings, Chief Executive Officer of the DP World Tour.
“They have been championing golf since 1967, and over the past three decades, Rolex have been an integral part of the DP World Tour’s evolution as golf’s global Tour with an unmatched international footprint.”
“Rolex also has impeccable standards and will continue to make our Tour better in everything that we do. This is best exemplified by the Rolex Series, with tournaments that attract world-class fields and continually innovate to deliver a memorable experience for spectators. Together, we will continue to elevate tournaments, inspire players, and bring golf’s blend of history, integrity and exhilaration to fans across the globe.”
