When the FIFA World Cup kicks off in Qatar in three weeks’ time, the closest competing team to Ireland will be that of Wales.

To celebrate their achievement in getting there The Government of Wales and the British Irish Chamber of Commerce are bringing two Welsh football legends to Dublin on Thursday evening, November 3rd for an evening of chat and conversation.

Ian Rush is a Liverpool icon having scored 346 goals for the club and winning five league titles and two European Cups in the 1980s and ’90s.

Neville Southall is hailed as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time. He made 750 appearances for Everton, collecting two league titles and two FA Cup Winners medals along the way as well.

Between them, they played 166 games for Wales and will be in conversation with our own Rob Hartnett for what promises to be a very special event.

It will be a hot ticket but we have secured four guest places for Sport for Business members. They will be given out on a first come first served basis and if you would like to be in with a chance just enter your details below.

We look forward to seeing you there and sharing some of the highlights with the wider group next week.
