Basketball Ireland has announced a major new commercial partnership with Mercedes-Benz, which becomes the organisation’s Official Vehicle Partner in a multi-year agreement.
The partnership, focused through Mercedes-Benz Vans, will see the iconic global brand support the delivery of Basketball Ireland’s most high-profile events — including international fixtures, the Domino’s Super League, and the National Cup semi-finals and finals.
Mercedes-Benz Vans will also play a key role in the 3×3 Summer Tour, helping bring the fast-growing format of the sport to communities across the country. A specially branded Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van will be provided to Basketball Ireland to assist with the logistics and operations that underpin its nationwide calendar of events.
Speaking about the new partnership, Gus Lewis, Head of Commercial and Brand at Basketball Ireland, said:

The deal continues a positive trajectory for Basketball Ireland’s commercial and brand development, as it strengthens relationships with household names like Nike, AIG and Domino’s Pizza, and reinforces its status as one of Ireland’s fastest-growing sports both on and off the court.
