AIB has unveiled the first full episode of their new content series ‘Meet #TheToughest’ featuring action from the AIB Leinster Camogie Club Championship final that saw three players across the two finalist teams wearing cameras on the field of play for the first time ever in Gaelic Games.

The episode can be viewed above.

Dicksboro of Kilkenny and St Vincent’s of Dublin played at Netwatch Cullen Park in Carlow on November 19th, and saw Aisling Maher, Muireann Kelleher and Aoife Prendergast wearing cameras on the field of play, to allow fans a never-before-seen perspective into one of #TheToughest championships in the world.

The second installment of the series will focus on the action from this weekend’s All-Ireland semi-final showdown between the two Sarsfields of Galway and Cork in Mallow at 3 PM on Saturday.

“The AIB Leinster Camogie Club Championship final in Carlow delivered incredible excitement, skill and passion from all involved,” said AIB Marketing Director Mark Doyle.

“We were delighted to work with both St Vincent’s and Dicksboro for the game and are thrilled to unveil the first full episode of ‘Meet #TheToughest’ today, allowing fans a truly unique insight to the key moments from the game.”

“At AIB, we are extremely proud of our ability to bring new perspectives and incredible stories to life and we are really looking forward to watching all of the action unfold over the coming weeks.”

“The AIB Leinster Camogie Club Championship final was a hard-fought and thrilling game, and we are delighted to see all of this action unfold from a whole new perspective in this series,” added Camogie Association OPresident Hilda Breslin.

“‘Meet #TheToughest’ allows fans to get even closer to the game than ever before and truly see what life on the pitch is like for the players. We are counting down now to the All-Ireland finals later this month, and we are looking forward to seeing the action and skill unfold as the battle for a coveted spot at Croke Park heats up.”

The new ‘Meet #TheToughest’ series is the latest installment from AIB as it continues to tell the stories of #TheToughest of the AIB Club Championships in unique and compelling ways. It follows on from AIB’s innovative 2022 series, ‘Tailteann Cup: Mic’d Up!’, which saw AIB bring fans across the white line with mic’d up inter-county footballers, allowing them to hear all of the action on the pitch for the first time in Gaelic Games.
