Bohemian Football Club has agreed a major new commercial partnership with TheRecordHub.com, an Irish online record store, which will run for three seasons from 2023 to 2025.
The club and Dalymount Park have huge music connections across many decades.
Some of the most famous gigs in Irish history took place at Dalymount Park including Thin Lizzy in 1977, Bob Marley in 1980 and the club bars host punk gigs regularly to this day.
Bohs have club members in many bands, past and present, including Paul Page of Whipping Boy, whose lyrics featured on Bohs’ home shirt in 2022, Brush Shiels and Johnny Logan.
In recent years, Bohs have partnered with both the Marley family and Fontaines DC on away shirts, while also raising money for Focus Ireland to tackle homelessness and MASI to support those in Direct Provision.
TheRecordHub.com is the team behind Dublin Vinyl. It is there to help music lovers discover and grow their love of vinyl.
The brand will appear on the back of the Bohs shirt and there will be an exclusive vinyl vibe to the stadium experience starting this Friday when the Cure, Bob Marley Ian Borwon and the Pogues will all feature on the playlist for the home game against Dundalk.
“Bohs are one of the most innovative, creative and forward thinking football clubs in Europe and we are thrilled to become their partner,” said Hugh Scully, Managing Director of TheRecordHub.com
“The history of music in Dalymount Park is special and makes the partnership feel very natural and we are really excited of what the future holds.”
“We are delighted to announce this partnership today with TheRecordHub.com,” added Dan Lambert, Chief Operating Officer at Bohs.
“When we first met to discuss this idea we were instantly excited about how we can collaborate on so many things.”
“To have vinyl playing over the Bose PA system in Dalymount at games is brilliant, and to be able to work with a local Irish company to do so is really important to our club values.”
“Football and music are two of people’s great loves and both have the ability to reach and impact people in a profound way. To bring them both together here is really exciting and we will have many more announcements together over the three years.”
