eir Sport has launched the second year of the eir Sport Irish Sports Book of the Year.
Last year’s inaugural award went to John Leonard’s Dub Sub Confidential ahead of an impressive shortlist.
The prize is awarded to the best sports book by an Irish author published in 2016 or the best book with Irish sport as its subject matter.
Details of the judging panel will be announced shortly and the shortlist will be published in November ahead of an announcement of the winner in December.
