
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for maximising income opportunities from a variety of sources including sponsorship, partnerships, merchandising, licencing, events and ticket sales.
They will also be responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with existing key sponsors including Liberty Insurance who have sponsored the All Ireland Championships for the past five years, Littlewoods Ireland who are in the middle of the second year of their partnership with the National Leagues, and AIB who back the All Ireland Club Championships.
Interest in Women’s sport is at an all-time high and five games from the Liberty Insurance All Ireland Championship are broadcast live on RTÉ during the course of the summer adding to the lustre of a sport which has 560 clubs across the country and has seen five percent annual growth in terms of playing numbers since 2014.
The role is part-time with a competitive salary commensurate with experience and is offered on a fixed term basis arising due to maternity leave.
The successful candidate will likely have significant experience in devising and implementing successful marketing campaigns, including building audience levels. She or he will also possess excellent relationship management skills and will be comfortable with securing support from corporate sponsors and partners.
