Connacht Rugby and BLK have released a special 2022/23 European kit, commemorating the 25-year anniversary of the iconic 1996/97 season.
Eric Elwood, Mervyn Murphy, Nigel Carolan and even a young Bernard Jackman were in the team, led by Warren Gatland, that became the first Irish team to beat English and French opposition away from home in European competition.
The new kit is a retro look at that season and is modeled above by Tom Daly, Jack Carty, and John Porch
It will be worn in the Challenge Cup campaign against Newcastle and Brive.
