The adventurous obstacle course that is Red Bull Conquer the Castle is to return to Ireland in 2023.
In fact, it is doubling up with a first trip to Castle Irvine in Fermanagh on May 6th before a return to the Rock of Cashel on June 10th
It is an event for thrill seekers looking to challenge themselves in a contest like no other.
Cashel will see an extended mentally, and physically testing 2.5km course with over 20 ruthless obstacles from balance beams to cargo net climbs and stone wall crossings. Castle Irvine will see a longer 3.5km course with more than 25 obstacles, each proving the ultimate test to even the most determined.
It’s like Ireland’s Fittest Family but on steroids and while it might not make for Sunday primetime viewing on RTÉ, the Red Bull media team will be capturing it all to broadcast to millions around the world. As if there wasn’t enough pressure just to finish.
Competitors over 16 can register to compete at either or both events with prizes for the top three finishers in the male and female categories.

Sport comes in many forms from the classic team events to the quirky and the demanding. Red Bull events are always produced and delivered to the highest of standards and if previous iterations of Conquer the castle are anything to go by this will also deliver a memorable day out.
