National Indoor Arena National Sports CampusThe National Sports Campus is the largest single infrastructure project in Irish sport since the redevelopment of Croke Park and the Aviva Stadium.  The National Aquatic Centre and Sport HQ have been joined now by the FAI Headquarters and Centre of Excellence as well as facilities unlike any others in the country for GAA, Equestrian Sport, Hockey, the irish Institute of Sport and with more to come.

The latest signature development is the National Indoor Arena rising from the ground towards the entrance to the campus and which is on target for completion and opening in November of this year.

Now there is an opportunity to join the team that is creating this sporting dream to the West of Dublin with a role advertised for a Chief Operations Officer reporting into National Sports Campus Director David Conway.

The role will require a strong get of commercial skills to negotiate service level agreements with individual sports using the facilities and parent body Sport Ireland.

The basis on which Government capital investment has been assigned to the project to get it to the state of near completion it is in now was that this would be operationally self sustaining for the most part, blending high performance facilities with elements of community access that would help to defray costs.

Details of the requirements and experience needed as well as on how to apply for the role are available on the Sport Ireland website.
