It was a game to remember, a game of history, a game of memories that will define a generation of players.
Those who were there will have their own perspective as will those who watched it on television back in Ireland.
As is often the case with history though the enduring memory lies in how the tale is told after the event.
Fair dues then to the IRFU who created their own ‘tunnel cam’ video giving behind the scenes footage of the game and capturing the moments that will serve as a timely and at times emotional reminder of that first time win over the All Blacks in 111 years.
