DHL Express Ireland has signed a new partnership with Munster Rugby which will see them become the Official Logistics Partner of the province for the next three years.
The brand has a longstanding history and involvement with the sport through existing partnerships with the IRFU, Harlequins in England and the DHL Stormers in South Africa.
DHL is also experienced in delivering the tailored solutions required of the sport through their partnerships with major global organisations including the British and Irish Lions Tour, World Rugby Sevens Series and Rugby World Cup 2015 and 2019 respectively.
“DHL has been a longstanding supporter of Irish rugby,” says Bernard McCarthy, Managing Director DHL Express Ireland.
“I’m delighted that we’ve signed a three-year deal to become the Official Logistics Partner of Munster Rugby. At DHL Express we have a significant operational presence and customer relationships across the Munster region, so partnering with Munster Rugby is very exciting and makes a lot of sense.”
“We are delighted to welcome DHL to our family of partners,” added Ian Flanagan, CEO of Munster Rugby.
“DHL are a global market leader in the logistics industry with a very strong presence throughout Munster and Ireland so are the perfect fit as our new Official Logistics Partner.”
“We are really looking forward to working with DHL and to building a very strong partnership together in the coming years.”
