
Over 100 pieces of team equipment will be transported first from Dublin to the pre-Games training camp in Portugal and then on to London. For the games which get underway in August.
“There’s a significant logistical challenge involved in moving our athlete equipment from Dublin to Portugal and then on to the Games,” said Paralympics Ireland CEO Liam Harbison. “We’re delighted to have the backing of DHL’s expertise – we know that everything will arrive on time and in good order.”

Paralympics Ireland are expected to announce details of another sponsor later today, as well as details around broadcast coverage of the London Paralympic Games.
