Ireland take on Wales at Virgin Media Park on saturday in Round 3 of the Guinness Women’s Six nations.

It is up against Leinster and La Rochelle, the Aintree Grand National and the US Masters but the experience of being there live cannot be beaten, particularly in the eyes of the children that could be inspired to stay in or take up a lifetime of sporting fandom.

With Junior tickets on sale for €10 it is great value.

As proud partner of Ireland Men’s and Women’s rugby teams, Energia believes that being a partner to both teams means showing support for both and is encouraging rugby supporters to be more than #HalfAFAN.

Irish rugby internationals and Energia ambassadors Linda Djougang and Brittany Hogan revealed some fascination insights at a panel discussion MC’d by former international Fiona Coghlan last week looking ahead to the game.

You can watch the full session below and it is entertaining or if you are pressed for time how about this little snippet of refreshing honesty…

Commenting on the inspiration to get involved in rugby originally, Brittany said “You were just allowed to hit people!”

Linda Djougang shared a similarly candid summary of her first rugby experience. “I just ran like a dog was chasing me!”
