The ways in which sport can help businesses to grow and expand internationally will be explored next week at ‘Gathering for Action’, the annual Conference of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce.
Sport for Business sits on the Culture, Arts, Sport and Tourism Committee of the Chamber and will be participating and reporting on events at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th January.
Hugo MacNeill, the former Irish Rugby International and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs, will deliver an opinion piece on what he sees as being the strength in crossover between sport and business.
He will be joined on this particular panel by Tim O’Connor, Chairman of the Gathering, Senator Fiach MacConghaill of the Abbey Theatre, Stuart McGloughlin of Business to Arts and Minister Jimmy Deenihan.
An audience of up to 300 is expected to attend the two half day sessions at the Aviva Stadium and we have a limited number of special guest deals for members of the Sport for Business Community to attend.
You can view the full conference programme here, and if you are interested in attending please contact us today to see what we can do to help you make a contribution to the debate.
