It has been a special day for Camogie today marking it’s 120nd anniversary with a host of events around the country.

The first ever match, as far as the oral history can tell us took place in Tailteann Park, navan between two Dublin Clubs – Jeatings and Cuchullains.

The same venue was host today to one of the many birthday party events across all four provinces with thousands of young girls having a day to remember.

Here is how the day was marked in words, pictures and video across the Camogie social accounts.

Sport for Business will host its Children and Sport Conference event in Dublin on Thursday morning, September 19th. This is one of many events planned for the remainder of 2024.
