Olytico’s November 2025 analysis of Irish Sport on Social Media covers 11,650 posts, 6.34 million public engagements, and a Troy Parrott inspired 27 million TikTok views.

Whilst activity fell across all platforms, X (-18%), Facebook (-15%), Instagram (-31%), and TikTok (-20%), engagements per platform increased significantly +155% on X, +62% on Facebook, +25% on Instagram, and a record 2.37 million TikTok engagements (+112%).

Ireland Football were the standout performers of the month, leading engagements per post on both X and Instagram.

The Men’s National Team dominated the analysis: their most-engaged X post surpassed 140,000 engagements, with the associated RTÉ footage exceeding 17 million views.

On TikTok, Ireland Football accounted for the top 15 most-viewed posts, led by the Parrott hat-trick compilation post, which has generated 4.4 million views and 410,000 engagements to date.

November 2025 Highlights on TikTok

 

 

463 (-20%) TikToks were posted by Sport for Business members in November, these posts resulted in 2.37 million engagements (+112%), a record for the platform since its inclusion, and 27.56 million views (+47%).

Three organisations broke the magic million views for the month – led by Ireland Football with a record breaking 18.97 million views, the URC (3.61 million), and HRI (1.12 million).

The URC topped the activity charts with 98 posts – as Crowley, Casey, and Coombes combined for this score against the Stormers, and they were followed by the NIFL (81) and Ireland Football (37).

When ranked by average engagement per post, Ireland Football (51,639) topped the charts, followed by Leinster Rugby (3,689) as an All Black superstar joined their ranks, and Irish Rugby (2,694).

To put November’s stats in context, Ireland Football generated the top 15 most viewed pieces of content. The most viewed content (and most engaged with for the month) was a compilation of Troy Parrott’s hat-trick against Hungary with 4.4 million views and 410,000 public engagements to date.
