Sport for Business member Trinity College Dublin is looking to appoint a Rowing performance Development Officer.
The role will be on an initial three-year fixed term contract and is directly related to the continued growth and development of Trinity Rowing, which has a heritage dating back over 180 years and is currently one of four focus sports within the University.
This position is key and will further establish a foundation for attracting and supporting top-level student rowers in the future. Working directly with the lead coaches and officers from both clubs, this position will report directly to the Student Sport Pathway Manager (within the sports Development Unit) and deliver on predefined key performance indicators and goals.
The main emphasis of the role will be to provide athlete training and support to both men’s and women’s programmes, delivering and overseeing regular ‘off-water’ strength, fitness, and technical sessions in-line with coaching plans. The post holder will also be heavily involved in athlete recruitment, community engagement, and club development and education.
Informal enquiries about this post should be made to the Deputy Head of Sport and Recreation Matthew Dossett via email
