Pat Lam may be bidding farewell to Connacht Rugby but there will be one last chance to hear him talk of his time in Galway and how he created a winning culture at a special Bord Gais Energy event taking place in the city next week.
Sport for Business have been partners with Bord Gais Energy on events in Cork and Dublin over recent months and they have provided a high class line up for business leaders.
Leadership: Building a Winning Team will run from 8am to 11am at Galway’s Clayton Hotel on Thursday, May 11th. There will be a range of keynote addresses, presentations, and interactive question and answer sessions to provide insights from the speakers’ personal journeys.
Lam and Galway hurling legend Joe Canning will take part in a panel discussion entitled ‘Creating a winning culture’ to discuss lessons learned in leadership and effective ways to create and maintain a winning culture.
They will be sharing their advice and insights on how to drive motivation and the parallels between sport and business in creating a winning ethos during an interactive session that promises to engage and inspire business attendees.
“Galway is the hub of a very important and growing business region, and we wanted to organise an event which would provide value, not only to our business customers but to all small business owners in the area,” said Dave Kirwan, Managing Director of Bord Gais Energy.
“This is the fourth such conference we’ve organised in the past two years, and the excellent feedback we’ve received from the earlier events has helped us to carefully tailor this one to our customers’ needs.”
