Leopardstown Racecourse has announced that mortgage protection company Beatthebank.ie has agreed a three-year sponsorship deal to co-sponsor the Grade 3 Mares Hurdle with the Irish European Breeders Fund.

The race takes place on Thursday, December 29th, day four of the famous Christmas Festival. The race will have a prize fund of €40,000.

Founded by Niall O’Connor in 2019, Beatthebank.ie and Financial Planning Matters are based in Sandyford, Dublin, just around the corner from the racecourse, and employs five staff.

The company currently offers mortgage protection and life insurance, is completely digital and as a result, can offer the cheapest premium in the Irish Market.
