
Pat O’Brien, John McDonagh, Annette Ní Dhathlaoí and John Coffey all kitted out to try their hand at a variety of hurling skills on the hallowed turf and were joined by assorted members of the media, Jennifer Gleeson and Diarmaid Murphy from the GAA.
Joe Canning, Liam Rushe and Anna Geary were on hand as team managers for the skills session which stretched the talent and stamina of some more than others but it must be said that Marty Morrissey of RTE stepped up in the accuracy stakes, providing another feather in the Clare cap ahead of next week’s Munster Hurling Championship semi final against Cork.
Liberty had a great start to their sponsorship winning a hatful of awards in Ireland and across Europe for the ways in which they activated the first time association.
