Chloe Magee from Donegal has clinched her place in the Ladies Singles Badminton at the London Olympics.
The Donegal native qualified by virtue of her quarter final place at the Yonex Irish International Championships in Lisburn.
Magee failed to progress further going down 21-17 in the third set of a tight match against number one seed Pi Honyang of France.
The final places for the Olympics are not confirmed until next April but this performance after a good season to date means Magee can now begin planning for her second Olympic appearance following Beijing in 2008.
