Irish Rugby is in the spotlight at the moment with the Guinness Men’s Six Nations and on the Government agenda as well with Minister for Arts, Culture, Communications, Media and Sport Patrick O’Donovan and Minister of State for Sport Charlie McConalogue paying a visit to the Irish Rugby High Performance Centre yesterday.
The two are pictured above being greeted by Director of Rugby David Humphreys and Head of Communications Aoife Clarke before a tour of the facilities where the Irish teams prepare.
SPORT FOR BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE
It is important for sport to maintain its strong and growing importance within Irish public life and having the Ministers on site so early in their tenure is a real positive for all sport.
