The Guinness PRO14 has this morning named ROS Nutrition as the Official Nutrition Partner for the Championship for the next two seasons.

The association will include a strong presence on PRO14 Rugby’s social media accounts where they will provide nutrition tips and supply prizes for giveaways.

“ROS Nutrition have a great energy about them with their innovative approach to their business and commitment to high-quality products,” said Dermot Rigley, Commercial and Marketing Director for PRO14 Rugby.

“We share those same values when it comes to creating an environment for our teams to thrive in so that they and their players can succeed in the colours of their clubs and their countries.”

“We know that many of our fans care about having an active lifestyle and ROS Nutrition have already demonstrated their ability to connect with athletes of all ages and abilities through their voice on social media.”

“I’d like to welcome ROS Nutrition into our stable of Championship partners and we’re really excited to work alongside each other and connect with our fans in a meaningful and positive fashion.”

“PRO14 Rugby and ROS Nutrition are a natural fit,” said Damien O’Sullivan, Business Development Manager for ROS Nutrition, who are headquartered in Ireland and have sales offices across the UK.

“You need to have so many different physical and mental skills to succeed on the rugby pitch while possessing a nutrition plan that helps provide the best preparation and recovery possible.”

“The Guinness PRO14 contains close to 300 international players and we share that aspiration of being at the elite level when it comes to sports nutrition. Since 2013, ROS Nutrition has stood for: Responsible, Original and Superior. We strive to deliver evidence-based nutrition for athletes whether they need to fuel up or recover from high-intensity exercise.”

“We also ensure that our products are affordable and fairly priced so we can provide high-quality sports nutrition that is vital to optimising physical activity and allowing athletes at all levels to perform at their best.”

The addition of ROS Nutrition comes off the back of an announcement two weeks ago that The Times and Sunday Times are to be the Official Media Partner of the PRO14 Final Series and that the commercial and marketing team was expanding through three key new appointments.

This year’s Guinness PRO14 Final takes place at the Aviva Stadium on May 26th.
