The Olympic Federation of Ireland has announced two key new appointments as the preparations for Paris 2024 gather pace.
Kevin Keane will be the new Marketing and Commercial Manager, reporting to Catherine Tiernane. He joins from Triathlon Ireland where he has overseen their commercial arrangements over recent years with Vodafone and BMW amongst others. A regular supporter of Sport for Business events and what we do, he is a great signing for the Federation.
Joining him on the team will be Ciara Lyons in the role of Events and Sponsorship Manager. She will be returning to Ireland after spells in Australia and working on the storytelling team in Qatar around last year’s FIFA World Cup.
Lyons spent time before leaving Ireland as a production runner working with Nemeton TV and for three years on the marketing team at Munster Rugby.
“I am thrilled to be joining such an important organisation with a mission to positively enhance Irish sport, Irish athletes and the country as a whole,” she said.
